So it's been over a year, and I thought it's about time I introduced myself. I'm Kacey, a FIFO wife and stay at home mama of 2 little bebes who are always keeping me on my toes, but I do get the odd moment like now where they are both sleeping #bossmum (self titled of course)
I started Willow and Wolf a little over a year ago, and to be frank, it was purely because I was constantly being complimented while out and about about (hmm bad English) my stylish little man. At the time, I was working full time (what crazy lady wants to add more work to their already chaotic life *rolls eyes*) and decided why not? How hard can it be to play around on social media and share with other mamas all the little goodies I've found around the world. Well turns out about a thousand other mamas are doing the same thing, but hey, if there's that many of us out there than it must be good (and let me tell you, it is mint). So now, after working 4 years in the career that I thought I wanted, I think I have finally found the perfect work/life balance. I get to stay home, watch reality TV (well, a very small amount as my TV is 99% of the time on Nick Junior or the disney channel- which is probably the most painful part of being a SAHM (stay at home mama- I'm an acronym lover) I drink coffee daily, and online shop all day. Ummm, who wouldn't want this life. If I pop a grey hair or a wrinkle before I'm 30, well.... I don't know what I'll do.
As you might have noticed over the last few weeks, we added a baby girl Neave to our tribe. She's so freeeakin cute, she makes my ovaries tingle. I sleep stalk her every morning (partially because she gets to sleep until 9am and I am totes jealous) and think to myself how on earth did I get so lucky. Two happy, healthy and totally easy going children (surely I can't hit the jackpot and get 3/3?) hmmm, we'll see.
Anyway, my creative juices are running low, so I'll save my next blog post for another boss-mumming time (could be next week, could be next year who knows). But until then, I hope this little read makes children's TV a little more bearable for you. If it doesn't then go get yourself a wine. I guarantee that will (insert champagne clicking emoji here)
